Diving Caño Island

Caño Island is 12 nautical miles from Drake Bay, the tour includes a diving instructor, all equipment, lunch and park fee. Two dives are made at two different points, in which you can find a wide variety of underwater fauna  such as large schools of barracudas, jacks, snappers and many other species of tropical fish. In addition it’s common to see white tip sharks, 3 species of turtles, giant pacific manta ray, mobulas ray, spotted eagle ray, southern sting ray, and several species of moray eels, among others.  Caño Island is considered the second best dive site in the country just behind the island of Cocos, and has the healthiest reef on the Pacific coast.

Snorkeling Caño Island

The Caño Island snorkeling tour includes snorkeling guide, fins, masks, snorkeling vest, lunch and park fee.  Snokeling on Caño island is impressive. The marine life observed during the tour is as good as if you were diving, apart from a great variety of schools of tropical fish you can usually see white tip sharks, turtles, sting rays,  mobula and manta rays and many other exciting oceanic animals that can only be seen on this island. Also during the boat trip you have a great chance to see dolphins and many seabirds.
